Crystal glaze is a rare technique seen on
some expensive vases, but rarely on snuff bottles. The
results are spectacular but very difficult to achieve, and
the yield is low. This fine artist-created porcelain
bottle features attractive sea-foam green starbursts on a
pale blue-green ground. Very subtle! And difficult
to capture in a photograph how beautiful the crystals are!
(White spots are glare from lights.) This classy bottle
is dressed up with a super-fine Peking Glass stopper closely
imitating fine Imperial jadeite, with brass trim and spoon.
