Flattened rounded shape with short neck, the nephrite jade a rare "Harlequin" type with light dove grey above and darker grey ("black") beneath, the artist placing the well defined demarcation line on a slant for dramatic effect, the black continuing around to the bottom of the back which shows further black-white swirls.  Well hollowed, Burmese jadeite stopper with well carved and stained spoon.  Very hard-to-find and attractive material, a showcase bottle for your collection.
