A fine contemporary version of a rare antique "puddingstone" bottle (the antique ones sell for thousands of dollars) with attractive russet-brown orbicular nodules within a white quartz ground, the material believed to come from Madagascar and quite scarce, the bottle well hollowed and tapering slightly in thickness toward its flat foot. With translucent white chalcedony stopper (almost looks like moonstone), dressy black collar, and nicely carved and stained bone spoon. Detailed view here.
