An essential item for the scholar's table, this large rounded, flat inkstone narrows at the water well end and has a larger well for grinding the inkstick.  Decorated with two writhing Chilongs (immature dragons) and a Bat, the nephrite jade brown and celadon.  A large, heavy example(1.3 pounds of jade).  Other views here.
