The Boy holding a sprig of Millet(?) over the Goose’s right side, the bird looking back, tiny old natural chip to right wing, the jade now completely altered to a mellow “antique ivory” color with fine craqueleure all over; wood stand.  See reverse.  Originally from a high-end East Coast antiques dealer, who had it marked as “Ming.”  While I don’t agree with the Ming dynasty attribution, it is possibly late Qing.  A fine piece, quite unusual.
