The pale grey-white-tan stone (bowenite) with darker veins, carved in Neolithic style with a broad central hole, four plain square corners, tiny chips to one rim, softly polished and with some light scuffing to the sides.  From a prestigious Pennsylvania estate collection and believed to be a late Qing dynasty archaistic piece, but possibly older.
